Canada Plum 'Bounty'

In the 1930's and 40's the Canadian breeding program at the Manitoba research station released several cold hardy plums
for the northern climates. 'Bounty' was one of these with egg shaped plums averaging 1 ½ inches in diameter. Dark red
skin with yellow flesh. Good for fresh eating, can be pollinated by American plum and American hybrids. Easy to grow, late blooming and very hardy.
