- Tundra is from the same cross as Borealis. It has a thicker skin and rounder shape and is suitable for commercial harvesting. Height is about 5 ft and yield is about 10 pounds on mature bushes. Good sized berries with a nice taste and flavor are good for fresh eating as well as baking. Early-mid blooming and earlier ripening than Borealis. A 5’- 6’ bush when mature, it is vase shaped and easy to pick. Because of similar genetics Tundra does not pollinate well with Borealis. We recommend pollinating with Honey Bee.
