Hazelnut

The American Hazelnut (Corylus americana)grows to a height of 8’-12’ and the species adapts well to a range of soil pH and types, but does best on well-drained loams. Nuts are not as large as commercial varieties but just as, if not more, flavorful. Commonly grown as a large bush they can be pruned to a tree form 18" - 24" seedlings
