AVOCADO

 

While often thought of as large trees, Avocado can be container grown and kept pruned to a manageable height.  There are hundreds of varieties ranging in size and texture, but we are most often exposed to the Hass type sold in grocery stores. For proper pollination you should grow 2 types and "A" and a "B" type so the flower timing matches up. Of course these make wonderful and very hardy unusual houseplants also. These seedlings we offer are from known varieties and not grafted. They also can be used as arootstock for other varieties if you wish to graft your own.
