The apple varieties in this group all have flesh that ranges in color from bright pink to a deep red. The blossoms of these also differ from standard apples with white blossoms in that they range from a solid pink to a solid crimson color. They range from tart to sweet like other apples but can make a  pink apple jelly, pink apple cider and pink apple pie .  While red flesh apples are a special interest of ours, they are more than just a novelty.
